This work explores a native Australian floral bouquet, where layers of pink and green interact to create unexpected depth and tonal balance. It reflects my ongoing interest in how colour can suggest form beyond what is immediately seen. Built in acrylic with textured layering, the surface holds multiple shades of pink and green that visually merge into a grounded, earthy impression. From a distance it reads as calm and brown-toned, yet no brown pigment is used — only the optical blending of natural hues within the composition. It speaks to the subtle complexity held within native flora.
